Watersports – Are You Covered?

With the summer season upon us watersports are a common activity on summer holidays. But like many physical activities, watersports come with a certain amount of risk. It is important to check your travel insurance policy to make sure you are appropriately covered for any watersports you intend to partake in.

It is also important to note that cover for watersports is not the same across different travel insurance policies and travel insurance companies.  Some may cover the lower risk water activities, some may cover all of them and some might not cover any at all.
